Yes for common actions like check-in and viewing cached payslips - data syncs when you're back online. Actions that need live validation (e.g., leave approvals) require connectivity.
All network traffic uses TLS 1.2+. Sensitive data is encrypted on-device. Optional biometric unlock adds a second layer. On logout or account deletion, local data is wiped.
